Traffic Jam

I would like to share an experience I often have in Japan. I often find when walking in the city the manner in Japan is different than the states. In general, when I bump into Japanese people on the street, in the bookstore, the department store, they do not seem to react in the way I expect them to. I found that it is common to simply ignore a person when bumped into to in Japan, as in the states, when you ignore a person in this situation, it is considered rude.
How about you????

Customs: Blower or a sniffler?

○キョロキョロ×have you ever noticed the small, insignificant cultural differences in Japan? I am from Colorado, in America. As an American, I have noticed many small cultural differences while living in Japan. I would like to share one with you today. I noticed that when a Japanese person has a stuffed nose in public, they find it polite to continuously sniffle, rather than blow their nose. In America, one loud BLOW, is polite in comparison to numerous small sniffles!!!!!!!!!!Which one are you?
